Brilliant Tribute to Galaga

Ive played many shmup games, and Galactic Nemesis is by far my favorite. Ive sunk countless hours into this super-addictive and rewarding game. The developer obviously knows how to make a quality iOS title, and is still maintaining it with updates (the latest adds tons of Game Center achievements, a whole new set of levels, and new music).

The graphics and gameplay are spot-on. I literally cant think of a single bad thing to say about this! The levels each have their own unique background, and the scoring system really keeps you motivated to keep improving. Also, there are special goals that reward extra in-game currency If completed. The currency is used to buy and upgrade new and better ships, making your next run a little easier. Ive gifted Galactic Nemesis out to many of my friends hoping theyll give it the time it deserves.

Simply put, this is the best retro shooter Ive played on the App Store. Well worth the low asking price. Buy it once and play it forever - no gimmicks, just straight-up awesomeness all around.
